As I promise, hereby I’ll share my opinion about yesterday’s occasion. First of all, this is only my opinion based on Tung Desem Waringin’s book of Marketing Revolution.
In that book, he differ these three class of person financially from their attitude to manage money. The guy who bet on a 9-9 (kiu-kiu) game is the Poor; the The person I met at the tax office is the Mid; and my private student’s father is the Rich. Why did I differ them like this? Because the Poor used a negative way to grow money and to gain stability when the Mid had already get his stability but he couldn’t hold his/her pleasure; he/she only think to get something that he/she never get before and it usually a bad investment (the value is decreased over time) such as phonecells, cars, motorcycle, etc. He/she never get his/her money to build his/her business larger or extend his/her investment scope. And the last is the Rich that had a counter-phase of those two (Poor and Mid). He/She used a positive way to grow money and could hold his/her pleasure. Believe me, it’s true.
Let’s play our role to be the Rich!!! ^^v

Today, I just realize what’s wrong with me. I learn something that I want to share with others. Not as usual, I left my office at 15.45 to get to the tax office. I have to prepare some documents first like photocopy of ID and company establishment document. Still waiting for the photocopy, I saw a crowd near when a guy with a long hair came and yelled: “Hey, I come with more money! Let me join!” Then suddenly I realized that they’re dealing a 9-9 (kiu-kiu) game. Finished copying the document, I went to the tax office and there I chat with a man who owns a Game Center at Sunter. He told me that he’s starting to get his stable state and he will have a brand new handphone, car, insurance, etc. Time limited me to talk to him more, so I left him toward my another job as a catalog photographer. When I was taking pictures, Sightly I heard my student’s father spoke to his colleague about his new phone distribution company. His colleague wants to share the first month profit to the group of owner, but he rejected it coz he wanted to extend the area of distribution to Bali.
That’s my story of the day. Tomorrow, I’ll explain what I get from this day. Wish me luck ^^

Terrible Air Asia Indonesia (Again???!!)
Two days after my complaint for Air Asia Indonesia, I was facing another problem with it. Today, I supposed to fly to Jakarta from Balikpapan on 10:00AM. Due to information I heard from Mr. A that Air Asia Indonesia is an on-time airline, I was heading to Sepinggan airport and standing in front of Air Asia Indonesia’s check-in counter on 09:00AM (In time).
And, what a surprise when the officer told me that this flight was cancelled due to some aircraft’s machine problem. Then, I was thinking about Mr. A’s words (Quote: “Air Asia is a strict airline, we cannot disobey the rules even you are the President –<NOTE: Impossible that our President want to take a flight with this ^&#*%@ airline>–, but in fact we can postpone or cancel your flight for safety reason”). Safety? Thanks a lot of being care about the passenger, but I just want to ask how about the confirmation of canceled flight? Does Air Asia Indonesia has it? I already gave my cell phone number, but Air Asia Indonesia didn’t contact me nor my company. Therefore, I stucked at the airport for 4 hours (Again??) because I have already checked-out from my hotel. Mad? Nope. Just asking why this airlines exist…
My suggestion, Air Asia Indonesia should fix every little thing before targeting a bigger scale on airlines industry. This thing is annoying and wasting both my time and my money.<T.T>

Today on 18 Feb 2008, supposed I had a flight to Balikpapan on 06.30. At that time, I was in front of the customer service desk in front of 1A terminal of Soekarno-Hatta airport. As this is my first flight with Air Asia Indonesia, I didn’t notice that the document I printed acted as a ticket and I should only come to the check-in counter. So, I ran out about 20 minutes there queuing. After knowing that, I was heading to its check-in counter. There, I got a shocking information telling me that I was late to check-in. After five minutes asking for help (and it didn’t help actually), I was directed to talk to his supervisor Mr. A (just call him like that). It was 06.03 when I and three other passengers came and talked to Mr. A. He kept telling me that it couln’t be helped. But suddenly at 06.20, there is other passenger came by and told the supervisor that he was an Export & Import officer and gave Mr. A the amount of Rp. 50.000,00 (when we clarified, Mr. A told that it was the airport tax. Okay, doesn’t matter^^). And, you figured it out??!! Mr. A ran to his desk, held his walkie-talkie, spoke with his “code” and told that passenger to run over the plane!!!
Mr. A told that the tolerance limit was 30 minutes, so the ExIm officer could board. But as I asked what about me, he told that I was 20 minutes late IN FRONT OF HIM! (Note that actually I checked-in 30 minutes before). If I met him 10 minutes ago, I might have a flight now. Just to be considered, should I checked-in to supervisor? Should not, right? Every check-in counter should be the same to overcome this CRISIS(T_T).
From this point, I want to get the paralelism about me and that ExIm officer. This is the fact:
1. Difference
a. He was on a flight to Surabaya that was scheduled 06.50
I was on a flight to Balikpapan that was scheduled 06.30
b. He was an ExIm officer
I was just a mere passenger
c. He spoke frontly
I spoke nicely (Weird though…)
2. Likeliness
a. We were late for 30 minutes (real 30 minutes) because of queuing
b. We were carring a baggage to load in
Yeah… I have bought another ticket right now that worth of Rp. 500.000,00 and that doesn’t concern me. But, the thing left unanswered is where is the credibility of Air Asia Indonesia to protect its passenger if it acts differently to passenger? Mr. A’s word still in my mind: “We are the on-time and on-rules airflight company”. But, where is the rule to differ passenger?
I can’t change my condition right now. But, I hope all other aircraft passenger don’t experience this things up. Maybe it’s nice to be on-time (and I understand that was my fault not to obey the Air Asia Indonesia’s rules causing me ended up like this), but when Air Asia Indonesia is unfair treating the passenger… I kindly feel sad about it.

Guys, do you already know JG? Its an abbreaviation for a person’s name of James Gwee. Last night, I’ve met him for the first time. I was feeling so excited at that time. Now, let me tell U the detail of the story.
Tuesday night I had a phone call from my student when I was in front of my computer working on my Business Proposal. She telling me that Wednesday would be one of my greatest days (I have a LOT of GREAT DAYS. Oh, thanx God^^). I asked her what was she trying to say about that? She invited me to come to her mother’s gala dinner to celebrate her new warehouse opening. Then I; with my thought that the thing she said is not as special as it is; just thanked her.
But after that, she added some extra conversation a bit and she began to say: “Do you know that you’re going to get a big surprise from my mom?”. Hmmm, I was still trying to figure out what was it. But she didn’t tell me until the phone was hung. Maybe it’s just a cloth or shirt (Note: I haven’t told you that her mom run a business of clothing^^). SO, that day was finished without any suspicion.
At Wednesday night, I came at 07.00 PM just like as asked by my student. Just around 20 people there. But in 15 minutes, I became around 50. The dinner run as a usual dinner. Nothing bothered me from my FOOD ^^v (yummy…). When it almost 8 PM, a car, Black Nissan Serena was coming parked at the lot. Everyone was there to get the guy and his wife to the table where my student’s family sat. I; as usual too not bothering the one that I don’t know; just trying to make myself full (ergh… yummy… ice cream X 2, siomay, cocktail X 4–> greatest thing there :p~)
Finished my dinner, I was called by the mom to the table that guy sat and I was beginning to see his face and know that he is familiar to me. Didn’t have enough time to finish my guess, the mom introduce me to James Gwee; “James”, he said. Wow, this is James Gwee. Hehe. A nice person though. She told him that she knew that I admire JG, so it’s the time that I can open a conversation with him. I was joining that table then. Speaking about Indonesia, culture, senses, and business.
The craziest thing in that conversation, is that he looks forward to making a business unit with me. Hahahahaha. The concept is simple. Joining our knowledge; IT and Motivational Education; to make a better Indonesia (Phew, what a hard job you know…). I will make contact with him ASAP to discuss it more. Hope I can provide a better Indonesia ^o^.
O ya, Just FYI. Until this time, I have met 3 great motivational and marketing speaker. Andrie Wongso (AW), Tung Desem Waringin (TDW), and James Gwee (JG). They are all great. Thanx God that I have this opportunity especially with JG where I can have approximately one hour speaking with him and making some idea together (a rare thing^^)
Here I attached my photo. Not to boast, just to show that I really happy with that.
